An alumnus of Government Ayurveda Medical College, Trivandrum, he graduated in the year 1973 and has since been relentlessly involved in every aspect of the Aurvedic Industry. The Chief Physician and Managing Director of our Hospital, he is an accomplished personality in both Clinical practice and the Ayurvedic Manufacturing Sector. As a founding member of AMMOI (Ayurveda Medicine Manufacturer’s Organisation of India), he spearheads its activities for consistent upkeep of quality and efficacy in the Ayurvedic Pharma Industry. With more than 46 impeccable years to his credit, innumerable laurels have come his way for selfless service as a Clinician with easy access to the common man. He is a recipient of the prestigious ‘Vaghbata’ award in the year 2008, an award instituted by the State Government, in recognition of Outstanding Clinical Excellence. He is an acclaimed Guru of the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, a venture of the Department of AYUSH at the Central level. The Vidyapeeth, established in 1988, initiated the course of “Member of RAV” with an effort to revive the traditional method of Gurukula system of informal education of India i.e., Guru Shishya Parampara to Ayurvedic graduates after formal education. As a revered Guru, he has mentored and equipped many a brilliant Vaidya for the rigors of this profession. General Medicine or Kayachikitsa is his forte, and lifestyle diseases, rheumatic disorders, and chronic diseases of the gut are his areas of expertise.
